A Guide to Playing Warframe – Tips, Tricks, and Secrets

One of the best games of its time, Warframe became an instant hit in the market almost as soon as it was released. It is free to play with a cooperative third-person shooter. Players get to control a member of Tenno which is a race of ancient warriors. These warriors have woken up from their cryo-sleep in the middle of a war and have various factions. The game has been introduced by Digital Extremes for various consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) and for Windows as well.

Players have the option of playing different missions or even in a PvP or PvE environment. The missions are all over the planets and moons in the solar system and even the dwarf plants. Players that have many weapons in their inventory get to only use them one at a time. For a new player or even for someone looking to play an easy game, here are Warframe tips, tricks and secrets.

Going Platinum

If you have some premium currency available before you start the game, make the wise decision of starting off on platinum including inventory slots or reactors/catalysts. Once you have done this, you will be able to expand the arsenal at an early stage. Later in the stages, you can purchase more plat. If you do not want to do so, you can build up a collection of valuable items which you can then sell to other players to buy the required plat. You can get unlimited free platinum using our warframe hack platinum.

Remember this little detail: avoid buying weapons, MOD packs or resources with plat as you can easily get them by farming. Even though it may seem that your only option is to buy them with plat, look deeper and even do a little research to figure out if it can be achieved by farming or not.

Plat should mostly be used for inventory slot or even to make some cosmetic changes to your character or even buying a rare item every now and then. Even though some items may not be for sale officially anymore, they are still trading in the game.

What to Do

Once you have finished the tutorial, you will have many other options to avail. Try completing your star chart as it will aid you in playing and unlocking various missions on different planets. At a junction, you will be required to complete a few tasks to be able to go forward. Once every planet and mission have been unlocked, you will have the liberty of doing anything or completing any task you want. Keep in mind that the further you go into the solar system, the more difficult the tasks will become.

Joining a Syndicate

If you join a syndicate, you will be able to get access to many different rewards like augment mods, ammo, health, and energy restoration. It will aid you in the future and in the missions that are to come. Plus, you will be able to play better with full rewards. Hence, try to get as many things as you can if you want to conquer the game.

Get as Strong as Possible

What people fail to understand is that new weapons will not make your stronger. Some of these may be good and some may not be as great for shooting targets. However, it will help you gain more power with a bigger weapon collection. You won’t be able to make a jump without having a proper mod setup.

These mods are the core factor for upgrades in the game, and you will be able to find them in different locations, especially in places where you have just killed an enemy. The amount of damage you can make from these mods can vary from destruction to demolition.

Determine Your Weapons

Know how good your weapons are in order to use them effectively. You need to look at two stats: the status chance and the critical chance. If the critical chance is low, you will need to give the weapons more mods so that the damage can be boosted. The same goes for status change as well; build it up for more damage in case it is not strong enough.

Experience Matters

Your experience in the game will go a long way and will be rewarded when it needs to level up. If you manage to kill someone with your Warframe, you will be able to get 100% of the exp. Killing with a gun will give you about 50% to the killing gun and 50% to your frame. There are a few other ways that you can gain exp as well. It is good to know all this as it can come in handy when you are placed in such situations.

Mastery Rank

It can be a bit confusing, but you need to remember that gaining this rank will be good for your overall account (this is not the same as your Warframe). You will earn these points every time you level to a max rank. To further advance in this rank, you will need to keep yourself updated with the weapons and frames. The higher the mastery you have, the better chances you will have to open better weapons and locations.

Force Start

New players tend to force start a mission when not everyone is ready. This is never a good choice as then you are at a disadvantage. Wait for it, let the others get ready and start on a mission together as you will have more chances of success since everyone will have selected the best mods and weapons.

Keep Polarity in Mind

It is a good idea to match the polarity with the mods. You can learn a bit more about this in the tutorial, but you will find every mod slot to have a symbol. When you are able to get this match, the cost is reduced by almost 50% and you will get higher level mods as well. Once you have progressed in the game, you will be able to use the Forma to switch the polarity.
